About Gaxload

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Our story

Gaxload started from a simple problem: it should not be this hard to find a current build of an indie game, a visual novel, or an 18+ RPG. Too many directories are cluttered, outdated, or built around interruptions instead of the listing itself.

We built Gaxload as a digital archive for that library. The aim is to present indie work clearly, keep pages readable on desktop and mobile, and send players to the right host when they choose to download.

Our mission

Three principles guide the catalog:

  1. Curated. Quality over noise. Titles are reviewed before they are listed so the page reflects a real game with a story or systems worth playing.
  2. Clean. A modern layout, dark mode, and pages that work on PC and phones. The catalog is meant to stay readable.
  3. Community. Reports of broken mirrors, missing Android ports, and wrong versions are how the index stays useful. We treat those messages as part of the work.

Why Gaxload

  • Trusted hosts. Listings point at established services such as Mega and Pixeldrain rather than anonymous dump folders.
  • Current builds. We watch public creator channels so version numbers on the site stay close to what developers are actually shipping.
  • Desktop and Android. Where a native Android build or a JoiPlay-friendly package exists, we note it on the listing instead of leaving mobile players to guess.

A note to indie developers

We list games because we want more people to find your work. We also respect your rights. If you would rather the download button open your Patreon, Itch.io, or another official page—or if you want the listing removed—write to us through the DMCA / Copyright page or contact@gaxload.com. We will cooperate.
