Overview
Dane is a 2D harem dating sim and RPG for players who want a lighthearted, adult fantasy adventure with a light role-playing structure underneath. It plays calm and unhurried, built for people who like slow village-life pacing over constant action.
Story
A wandering warrior washes up on a riverbank, hurt and disoriented, and is taken in by a milf and her daughter who nurse him back to health. With nowhere else to go, he stays in their village, where the people around him turn out to have their own desires and stories worth uncovering.
Gameplay
Play unfolds as an open-world sandbox where the player explores the village, talks to its residents, and builds relationships with a cast of women through dating-sim style choices. Turn-based combat and light RPG systems sit alongside the social side, giving the player something to do between conversations and courtships. Progress comes from mixing exploration, dialogue, and battles rather than following a single fixed path.

World & UX Improvements:
- I’ve been doing a lot of "polishing under the hood" to make the game feel more cohesive:
- The Boat Map: I’ve unlocked this from the very beginning. Previously, it was tied to Revna’s story, which caused some confusion for new players who didn't know how to earn money. To bridge this, I’ve added a mini-chat with Gunnar who will point you toward Revna if you’re looking to go on a raid.
Map Tweaks:
- Temple: Since I’ve removed Varka (the ghost), I’ve revamped the temple, created a beautiful statue for the Goddess Freyja, and shifted Disa’s schedule to nighttime.
- Village: Added signboards to help you find the blacksmith and the shop, and added a chimney to the blacksmith’s forge so you know where the heat is!
Minigames and More:
- Brand 2 new minigames.
- Visual Overhaul: I’ve updated the Map art, Heart art, Heart icons, and Achievement icons to match Caira’s stunning new look.
- Bug Fixes: Smoothed out a few cropped images in Kara’s story that were acting up.
Voice-Over:
- This month was a total marathon for audio. I’ve added full audio for Caira’s 16 chapters, the first 4 chapters for Enny and the Seer, and Gunnar’s battle chat. Total: 462 new audio files and 34 minutes of crisp, new audio!
