Overview
Elf City is a 2D RPG dating sim for players who enjoy fantasy settings played for laughs rather than seriousness. The tone stays wry and self-aware throughout.
Story
A young dark elf man lives among his landlady and roommate in a society where dark elf women rule and men are expected to feel desire only once a year. He's the exception, made worse by a love goddess sharing his head, and the women around him are as possessive as they are unpredictable. Across three chapters, the story follows what happens when his difference draws attention he can't easily manage.
Gameplay
Play centers on RPG progression mixed with dating-sim style interactions, as the protagonist navigates encounters with the women in his life and city. Choices shape how relationships develop alongside combat or exploration segments typical of the genre. New characters and story content are added as the chapters progress.

- Extends story one more day (last time, next up is just sandbox)
- The center of this update is that Vienna's sprite redone from scratch. She moves, blinks and talks.
- A lot of the prologue art got retouched a bit, mostly to match eye color and other details.
- A lot of the placeholder sprite art has been redone (it looks much better) but it's still ultimately a placeholder. (Support the game to make it not placeholders)
- Kara and Iserra have little face icons for now (these will get replaced when they get proper sprites next update)
- Bathroom BG in the prologue has been replaced with a real BG from a real artist. (the first of many)
- The background for the scene with El and Ali in the prologue also got replaced by a better bg (it wasn't AI before, but it wasn't the style I wanted).

- Doesn't extend story, still ends in same place, but...
- MALORIA'S SPRITE HAS BEEN REDONE FROM SCRATCH AND HANDRAWN, NOW MATCHES HOW SHE LOOKS IN CGs. HAS FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. SHE TALKS AND BLINKS.
- Entire game has been re-coded, start a new save. I would also remove any "patch" you may have put in the game. Actually, just delete and re-download at this point, seriously.
- Tara's sprite got touched up a bit again.
- The Vienna/Tara intro scene got retouched.
- The Maloria in Prison CG got replaced with final version.
- Gallery has been fixed up.
- You'll notice there's a money counter starting in Act 1.
