Overview

MindWare: Infected Identity is a visual novel for players who want a character-driven adult story with a sci-fi twist. The tone is moody and reflective, balancing quiet tension with explicit fantasy.

Story

You play a former freelance hacker in a neon city built around pleasure and vice. A routine job in cyberspace goes wrong, leaving you infected with a gender-altering mindware that begins rewriting your identity from the inside. From there, the story follows your choice to either give in to the change or fight to hold onto who you were.

Gameplay

Progress comes through text-based visual novel scenes broken up with light puzzle and hacking minigames tied to specific missions. Choices affect how the mindware's influence unfolds, shifting your character's identity, relationships, and the direction of the story over time. Exploration and dialogue decisions gate new jobs and encounters as you work through the city's underlying network.

Features

  • Mix of 2D and 3D art with animated scenes throughout
  • Central transformation and mind control theme tied directly to player choice
  • Hacking-based puzzle minigames woven into story missions
  • Gender-bender and futa/trans content as part of the core narrative
