Scrooby-Goon

Scrooby-Goon is a 2D adult parody visual novel for players who enjoy mystery-cartoon spoofs with a comedic, mischievous edge. It plays lighthearted even as the premise turns dark and absurd.

Story

After kidnapping the gang's detective and taking her identity, the player must pass as her among old friends aboard a fishing vessel caught in a storm. A ticking letter bomb forces a murder investigation, pushing the impostor to question the rest of the crew before time runs out — all while the real detective remains hidden below deck, bound and very much a part of the unfolding scheme.

Gameplay

Players explore the ship, question each crew member, and gather clues to piece together the murder before the timer expires. A deduction table ties the evidence together, while side interactions with the captured detective and other characters add optional distractions from the countdown. The mystery framework sits alongside adventure and sandbox exploration, letting players choose how much time to spend investigating versus interacting with the ship's inhabitants.
