Overview
Shamans and Debts! is a sandbox visual novel for players who want a slower-paced life-sim with adult dating elements. The tone leans grounded and personal, built around everyday pressure rather than spectacle.
Story
Akane is caught between the demands of everyday life and the people who want to control it. As debts and obligations pile up, she has to decide who to trust, who to use, and how far she's willing to go to stay independent in a city full of competing interests.

Play centers on managing Akane's daily routine: attending university, taking jobs, covering rent and tuition, and exploring the city between obligations. Cooking, shopping, changing outfits, and using the phone all feed into a schedule that opens up different NPCs and situations depending on time, location, and past choices. Relationships are built gradually through favors and repeated contact, with outcomes shifting based on what the player has already done.
