Unaware in the City is an animated sandbox RPG for players who want a grounded, uncertain world rather than a straightforward romance story. The tone stays cold and unpredictable rather than warm or comedic.

Story

A 21-year-old woman, shaped by the player from the start, is set loose in a sprawling metropolis known only as The City. There is no fixed path — her job, her habits, and the people she ends up depending on all take shape through the choices made for her, and the city rarely does her any favors.

Gameplay

Play centers on steering the character through daily decisions: where she works, how she carries herself, who she lets close, and how she reacts under pressure. Her stats, appearance, and past choices feed into how NPCs treat her, shifting conversations and outcomes in ways that aren't always in her favor. The management layer tracks her routine and standing in the city, while the sandbox structure lets events branch based on what the player allows to happen.
